My journey began in high-end publishing and visual communication, where a deep study of typography and calligraphy instilled a lifelong discipline for grid systems and legibility.

I worked as graphic designer for festivals (Udine Jazz, Onde Mediterranee), institutions (Galerie Martel, INRIA, or Circolo Arci Zoo), and music projects, combining typography with custom illustrations to create unique visual identities.

I also collaborated with French and Italian publishers designing art books for artists like Lorenzo Mattotti and Manuele Fior.

Transitioning into B2B communication (Solari di Udine, Société Générale and more) I leveraged this editorial precision to manage complex brand ecosystems and strategic signage for international exhibitions.

Moving to the
user experience design

Transitioning into User Experience, I focused on bridging the gap between business goals and functional design.

Working mainly for agencies, I led the end-to-end product lifecycle: conducting qualitative research, architecting data structures, and delivering high-fidelity UI kits and prototypes.

My expertise expanded into multi-platform interfaces, including mobile apps and interactive event kiosks, ensuring brand consistency across every digital touchpoint, from landing pages to social media ecosystems. This period was pivotal in mastering the balance between rapid prototyping and technical integration.

Seizing integration across diverse environments (like WordPress, Prestashop, and custom-built SaaS platforms) and partnering closely with developers and stakeholders, from brief to production, I developed a collaborative end-to-end leadership style.

Scaling Design Teams and culture

My leadership journey culminated at Akur8, where I played a central role in the company’s hyper-growth – from 25 to 200 employees in just four years.

As Head of Design, I built and scaled a multidisciplinary team from scratch, recruiting and mentoring seven specialists, including Product Designers, UX Researchers, and UX Engineers.

Beyond people management, I took ownership of the global UX strategy, ensuring seamless delivery for complex insurance pricing products across four squads.

To sustain this growth, I spearheaded the creation of our Design System and established scalable hand-off processes between design and engineering.

This role transformed me into a strategic partner, bridging the gap between design culture and business performance to foster a mature, data-driven design practice within a fast-scaling organization.

Evolving as Principal Designer and CX specialist

In my current role I have pivoted back to high-level individual contribution, focusing on Customer Experience strategy for sovereign cloud and secure collaborative suites.

I lead the design vision across multiple tribes, transforming complex IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings into seamless, end-to-end journeys.

By shifting the focus from pure UX to a holistic CX approach, I map global service ecosystems and lead Service Design workshops to align cross-functional stakeholders—from Engineering and Sales to Customer Success.

My work is deeply rooted in UX Research, using actionable insights to define product roadmaps and present strategic recommendations to the Factory’s leadership (VP, CPO).

This role allows me to combine 'Journey Thinking' with lean validation, ensuring that even the most stringent security environments deliver a world-class, human-centric experience.
